Questions and answers

How buying, delivery, coins and bans work on Nebula Games — written so a player and a parent can both follow it. If your question is not here, open a ticket and a staff member will pick it up.

Checkout is not switched on yet

Our payment processor, PayNow.gg, is not in live mode. No real payment has ever been taken through this store. You can look at the catalog and the prices, but do not expect a purchase to complete or an item to arrive until we say checkout is open. Nothing on this page is a claim that we are taking money today.

The rest of this page describes how buying and delivery will work once it is open, so you know what to expect. [OWNER TO COMPLETE: the date checkout opens and where that will be announced — Discord, the Updates page, or both.]

Buying and delivery

Getting what you bought

You type a Minecraft username, you pay, the servers do the rest.

How do I get my rank after I pay?

You do not have to do anything. At checkout you type your Minecraft username, and the store looks it up with Mojang to find the account ID your purchase attaches to. When PayNow confirms the payment, the store writes the entitlement and the game servers read it — normally inside a minute.

If you are already online when it lands, leave the server and rejoin to see the new prefix in chat. Delivery is triggered by PayNow talking to us directly, not by your browser, so closing the tab or losing your connection does not stop it.

Which server does my rank apply to?

Every server. The ranks sold here — Plutonian, Divergent, Ulterior, Alien, Martian and Celestial — are network-wide and permanent. Buy one and it is active on Prisons, Earth Planet, Sky Planet, Better Survival, Pixelmon and Prominence.

The rank ladders inside individual servers are a different thing. Prisons mining ranks, the Earth Planet survival ranks and the Better Survival tracks are earned by playing and are not for sale at any price. If an item is limited to one server, the checkout page says so before you pay.

Can I buy something for a friend?

Yes. Put their Minecraft username in the checkout box instead of your own — that is the account it gets delivered to, and they do not need to be online.

Check the spelling twice. Delivery follows the username you typed, and the store has no way to know you meant somebody else. [OWNER TO COMPLETE: whether a gift can be moved to a different account or refunded after delivery, and whether the buyer or the recipient has to ask.]

I paid and got nothing.

Wait two minutes and rejoin the server first — that fixes most of them, because the rank is granted on the server side and your client needs to reconnect to see it.

If it is still missing, the usual cause is the username. A typo, or a Mojang lookup that failed while you were checking out, leaves the order recorded with no account attached to deliver it to. Staff can attach the right account by hand. Use the steps below.

If an order did not arrive

Open a ticket with these three things and it can usually be fixed in one reply.

  1. Your order number. It looks like NB-1A2B3C4D and is on the confirmation page. If you signed in with Discord it is also on your account page.
  2. The exact Minecraft username the item should go to.
  3. What you bought and when.

Accounts

Your Minecraft and Discord accounts

Buying needs no account. Seeing what you own does.

What is /link and why do I need it?

It is a command you run in game. Join play.nebulagames.cc, type /link, and follow what it tells you. That ties your Minecraft account to your Discord account so the network knows the two are the same person.

You do not need it to buy — checkout only asks for a username. You need it to sign in here, because signing in is Discord plus a link and nothing else. Once linked, this site can show your order history, your coin balance and your rank, and vote rewards stay one per player instead of one per account you can make.

Can I change my Minecraft username?

Yes, and you will not lose anything. Ranks, coins and purchase history are stored against your account's permanent Mojang ID, not against the name you are using, so they follow you through a rename.

Two practical notes. This site caches name lookups for about an hour, so a fresh rename can take that long to show up here. And if you buy something soon after renaming, type the name your account has right now, not the old one. If a rename really does seem to have cost you something, open a ticket.

What do you store about me?

Your Minecraft username and Mojang ID, your Discord ID once you have run /link, your order history, and any punishment record you have. Your billing email and the IP address you paid from are held by PayNow.gg, our payment processor. This store never sees your card details.

[OWNER TO COMPLETE: a link to the privacy policy, and the route for a data or deletion request. No postal address or email is published for Nebula Games, and most places require a real contact route to be given here.]

Currency

Nebula Coins

One balance for the whole network, spent in game with /store.

Are coins network-wide?

Yes. There is one balance per player for the whole network, not one per server. Buy 6,000 coins and all 6,000 are spendable on Prisons, on Earth Planet, on Pixelmon, anywhere.

It works the other way too. Spend 500 on one server and your balance is 5,500 on every server and on this site, straight away.

Do coins expire?

No. A coin balance sits on your account until you spend it. Nothing removes it over time and nothing removes it for not playing.

Coins are not real money. They cannot be cashed out, and they only buy things inside our servers. What happens to a balance on a banned account is covered in Bans and appeals below.

Money

Refunds, reversals and who is allowed to pay

The part a parent will want to read.

How do refunds work?

Everything sold here is virtual and is delivered to your account within about a minute of payment, which is what makes this different from sending back something you can post.

[OWNER TO COMPLETE: the actual refund policy — whether refunds are offered at all, how long a buyer has, and whether an already-delivered rank or already-spent coins can be refunded. In several countries this has to be stated before the buyer pays, so it cannot stay blank.]

However that lands, the mechanics are the same: ask through a ticket with your order number. PayNow.gg processed the payment, so any money that comes back goes back the same way it came in, to the same card or account.

What if the payment gets reversed?

A chargeback tells us the payment did not stand, so what was bought with it does not stand either. [OWNER TO COMPLETE: exactly what happens on a reversal — items removed only, or account banned as well. Write it plainly here so players are told before it happens, not after.]

If you paid with someone else's card and they are about to reverse it, open a ticket first. Sorting it directly is a better outcome for everyone than a chargeback.

I am 15. Can I buy something?

[OWNER TO COMPLETE: the minimum age to buy and whether a parent or guardian has to give permission. Payment terms usually require the cardholder to be an adult, so this needs a real answer.]

Whatever that rule turns out to be, the practical version does not change: if the card or the account is not yours, ask the person it belongs to before you use it.

Moderation

Bans and appeals

Punishments are on record and you can look yours up yourself.

How do I appeal a ban?

Look it up first on the punishments page. Search your username and you will see the type, the reason, who issued it and whether it runs out on its own. A temporary ban expires by itself and needs no appeal — the page tells you when.

To appeal, open the panel at bot.nebulagames.cc and file it there. Give your in-game name, what the punishment was for, and why you think it should be lifted. Staff are reading the same record you are, so being straight about what happened works better than arguing that it never did.

[OWNER TO COMPLETE: how long an appeal takes, whether permanent bans can be appealed at all, any limit on repeat appeals, and what a ban does to purchases already made — ranks, crate keys and coin balance.]

Still stuck

Ask a person

Open a ticket with your Minecraft username, your order number if it is about a purchase, and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough to settle it in one reply.

[OWNER TO COMPLETE: how long a ticket usually takes to get a first reply, and a second way to reach support for anyone who cannot use Discord. No email address is published for Nebula Games.]
